Education

I am a graduate of Chilton County High School with an advanced diploma, Auburn University Montgomery (AUM) with a BS in education, Collaborative/Elementary k-6 and a master’s degree in Special Education 6-12.

Experience

This starts my 4th  year of teaching. I worked at Clanton Middle School as an emergency hire for a semester. Following this I began working at Clanton Intermediate School for three years as a special education/inclusion teacher. I transferred from Clanton Intermediate School to Chilton County High School this year. I will be teaching triple A students along with inclusion. I am super excited for this new adventure in my life.

Bio

I have chosen the field of education as my life-time occupation because of my love for children, and the joy of seeing children reach their full potential while overcoming physical, emotional and mental problems. I realize that each child is different and requires different goals so that they may acquire self-worth in today’s society.

I am a well-rounded individual with a pleasing personality. I have good communication skills and achieved the goals of education that I have pursued. I enjoy being actively involved in activities with public schools, churches, sports, and college sorority. All of these have enriched my life and allowed me to make a difference in the lives of others.

I know I was created with a purpose in life. That purpose begins with worshiping God and learning to have good relations with others, living a disciplined life with good character, high moral standards, and a life of service to others.
